Reverand Professor Henry Drummond (1851-1897)was a Scottish Evangelist, Biologist, writer and lecturer on Natural Science. Few men exercised more religious influence, especially on young men of his generation. Advocated theistic evolution. Drummond's travels to Africa inspired this delightful children's book. The book contains 16 drawings by prominent British artist Louis Wain( see photos).
